The Jewel by Adler Pool Tables was commissioned by Brunswick Billiards to be an exact replica of the Brunswick Balke Collander pool table circa 1908. The Jewel is an antique replica made with the same craftsmanship and old world technology found in the original. This includes large timbers that make up the body, perfectly finished 5" antique rails and slate inserts that secure the rails through side mounted antique rail bolts. The Jewel is made from solid mahogany with an antique mahogany stain.
Adler began operations in 1957 reproducing old tables, concentrating on Brunswick's early 19th century styles. The Adler’s were unique in reproducing not just the look of these tables, but the construction as well and quickly developed a local following, particularly among celebrities. Early customers included such names as Judy Garland, Kirk Douglas, Rex Harrison and Gregory Peck while contemporary clients include Ellen DeGeneris, Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicholas Cage, Heather Locklaer, Jason Alexander and many others.
Adler remains essentially a boutique firm, building only to order, customizing a number of tables for interior designers and building a handful of completely one-of-a-kind pool tables each year. Adler is well known in the industry for their unique designs and superior craftsmanship. Come into any of the Pool Tables plus showroom to experience these masterpieces firsthand.
