Shuffleboard

Shuffleboard is played on a long narrow table that is precisely leveled.  The table measures between 28” to 33” wide and 9’ to 22’ in length.  The play surface is made from 2” to 3” thick butcher-block maple and varies in length.  The long play surface sits in a level cradle and is concavity is achieved with 4 to 8 heavy duty steel climatic adjusters which are used to bend the board into a specific concavity along its entire length.  The game is played with 2 or 4 players who push weighted pucks, sending them gliding down the narrow and elongated board, with the purpose of having them come to rest within a marked scoring area. The opposing player can use their turn to either knock their adversaries’ puck off the table or advance their puck further down the board.
